Life changer.....

Alright, so I have some exciting news......I just got hired on to be a 3rd grade teacher! The news came as a shock to me-(I thought I blew the interview, but I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought) . I still have about 4 weeks left of student teaching, so I will still get supervised and all that good stuff, but now I will be getting paid and have my own class-so I won't have to fight the 40 other people that I am graduating with for the 1 or 2 jobs that come open in December. I start on Monday, so this is all happening rather quickly-but I'll just take each day as it comes and make the most of this wonderful opportunity that I have been given. I am so greatful and feel like the luckiest person in the world!!

Pathetic!!

Well in the last month, we have moved out of my parent's house and moved into our new home! YAY! It is nice to have our own space again. There are still some minor things that need to be finished and fixed, but for the most part it is our new Home Sweet Home! The problem is, that neither of us are ever home to get any of the stuff done. I have managed to make the front room, kitchen and bathroom presentable, just in case someone stops by. Student teaching is going very well, I just finished up with 1st grade (I was very sad to leave the great teacher and students that I had the pleasure to work with.....sniff! sniff!), I have now started in 6th grade, where even the shortest student is taller than me-but that's just something we will all have to deal with. The new teacher I'm with is also fantastic and it will be fun to work with her too. We do not have the internet at our house, so my blogging has become pretty much non-existant (as you have well noticed) for the last little while. Everytime I come to my parents' house it's to work on pictures and I have to seriously discipline myself to stay off of my blog, until they are done! Anyway, all is well, just CRaZy as usual.
