I never thought this day would come! I am so ExCitED! to say that I have officially graduated! It was such a great day! I am truly thankful for my FRieNds and FaMIly that got me through school. I love my friends that I went through the program with and will miss spending so much time with them! **including those that are early childhood and had to take an extra semester (not pictured)

Life changer.....

Alright, so I have some exciting news......I just got hired on to be a 3rd grade teacher! The news came as a shock to me-(I thought I blew the interview, but I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought) . I still have about 4 weeks left of student teaching, so I will still get supervised and all that good stuff, but now I will be getting paid and have my own class-so I won't have to fight the 40 other people that I am graduating with for the 1 or 2 jobs that come open in December. I start on Monday, so this is all happening rather quickly-but I'll just take each day as it comes and make the most of this wonderful opportunity that I have been given. I am so greatful and feel like the luckiest person in the world!!

Pathetic!!

Well in the last month, we have moved out of my parent's house and moved into our new home! YAY! It is nice to have our own space again. There are still some minor things that need to be finished and fixed, but for the most part it is our new Home Sweet Home! The problem is, that neither of us are ever home to get any of the stuff done. I have managed to make the front room, kitchen and bathroom presentable, just in case someone stops by. Student teaching is going very well, I just finished up with 1st grade (I was very sad to leave the great teacher and students that I had the pleasure to work with.....sniff! sniff!), I have now started in 6th grade, where even the shortest student is taller than me-but that's just something we will all have to deal with. The new teacher I'm with is also fantastic and it will be fun to work with her too. We do not have the internet at our house, so my blogging has become pretty much non-existant (as you have well noticed) for the last little while. Everytime I come to my parents' house it's to work on pictures and I have to seriously discipline myself to stay off of my blog, until they are done! Anyway, all is well, just CRaZy as usual. More pics to come soon......

Sidetracked...

My niece and nephew came over to the house for a little bit on Saturday-needless to say, I didn't get much done while they were there, but we sure had a good time!!!

Here are a couple before & after's...at least there is progress!!!

Goin' cRaZy!!!...

This house is turning into a bigger project than I mentally planned for. I literally spend every free second up there trying to get the thing painted. (I don't even have time for the Olympics anymore-hence my medal count is from a week or so ago). Just when I think I'm making progress, I realize just how much more there is to do. And to top it all off, the guy at the Kwal paint store made me cry yesterday-NOT what I needed.

I have had some great help though, which I am truly greatful for-my mom has been up there almost every night to help with whatever I need and my mother, sister and brother in law have been great help as well. (Thanks guys) There are a few others lined up-but like I said before, if any of you are just out there twideling your thumbs for something to do-just give me a call =)

All in all, my goal of being in my Labor Day weekend is looking impossible at this point, but what do you do?!

More to come later....

Olympic Feva.....

I am absolutely OBSESSED with the Olympics right now! There is just something about the energy that comes from the games that just ropes me in like a steer at a rodeo (ya, that was the best analogy I could come up with). I am glued to the TV every night...and I don't know what I would do without DVR for these events. There are sports that I would never dream of watching during the rest of the year, but like I said before I'm totally hooked!
Medal Watch:
USA 82
China 79
Russia 45

ExTReMe Home Makeover......Wall Style

Let the games begin! We just got a new house, but of course it is one that we are fixing up and putting our own personal touches on. The only problem with this one, is that we are in a huge time crunch....school starts in a couple of weeks and we wanted to try and be in before it started. I am student teaching this fall, so I won't have much time for anything else after school starts. The boys got the kitchen and bathroom torn out on Saturday, but now they have to patch the holes they made amongst MANY other things. I am in charge of painting (more on that to come)....all I can say is that it's pretty crazy at the new Wall household and there is still a long way to go. If any of you are bored in the next couple of weeks, we can definitely find something for you to do!

The house was built in 57' and it still contains many of the original decor, including the cabinets:
They were constructed into the wall and floor (really really well)...
We are going to update them, along with many of the other amenities that are still there from 57'.

Yes, you are seeing a lot of blue in these next few pics, because that's all that is in this bathroom...BLUE EVERYWHERE! I kid you not, when you turned the fluorescent light on (with a blue tint), it would radiate blue into the hallway. The tile, tub, accents in the tub surround and countertop, and the wallpaper were all blue. We did away with all of it. (is it weird that I want to paint one of the walls blue-G's not for that one at all)

Way Behind...

So I've been trying to get my picture blog up and running, so this one has been left in the dust.....I have a lot of new fun pics to post, but they all seem to be on G's moms computer, so I'll retrieve those soon.

Summer Pics...

I need to change the order of these two pics....if you look at the one below, you can see the struggle G was going through to catch his fish. And then if you look above, you can see the fish he caught. You might notice that the struggle on his face was a little far fetched....I laugh everytime I look at this pic!

Going to Bridger Lake is one of my *new favorite summer activities, even though I didn't catch ANY fish this year. (*new because I had never been there before marrying into the Wall family)

Roundup...

We had our annual 'Wall Roundup' a couple of weeks ago...Ya, that's right, we dressed for our own personal Rodeo...it was a blast as usual and turned in to a water fight by the end. More pics to come
